About

My name is Rebecca S. Kay and I am a sex educator & intimacy coach.

My life’s work is to eliminate the unhealthy stigma around sex and to reduce the unnecessary friction in relationships.

Who am I?

I have over 10 years of professional experience in the field of sexuality, across a variety of specializations.

I’ve been a Sexual Health Advisor for young people at Planned Parenthood Toronto, the Sexual Education Centre at the University of Toronto, and The Brandon Centre in London, England.

I launched the London chapter of Sex Geekdom International.

I have studied Surrogate Partner Therapy with the UK-based ICASA.

And I am currently obtaining my certification in Somatic Sex Education and Sexological Bodywork through the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education, approved by the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers (ACSB).

I have studied and practiced mindfulness and yoga for over 6 years.

On a personal note, I have been active in non-monogamy, LGBTQ+ , and kink communities for over 12 years.

My technique combines theories of mindfulness, sexological bodywork, psychology, and neuroscience, all with a strong underpinning in sexual health.

I operate through a trauma-informed lens where I prioritize clients’ boundaries and agency.

My style is rich in compassion, curiosity, self-exploration, and empowerment. My goal is to create a supportive, open environment where we can explore together.

“…we can’t live without desire, because it would mean that we live without hope, without curiosity, without aspirations, and without inspiration.”

— Esther Perel, Rekindling Desire program
